Peerless Technologies is committed to building a better world through sustainable, environmentally-friendly business practices. Through our ISO 14001-approved environmental initiatives, we are reducing waste streams, promoting recycling and taking efforts to reduce our carbon footprint.
Peerless tracks our Scope 1 and Scope 2 Greenhouse (GHG) Gas Emissions at our corporate headquarters in Fairborn, Ohio in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. As part of our ISO 14001 processes, our team tracks gas and electric usage, as well as recycling metrics.

Peerless has also undertaken efforts to reduce our Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions, including reducing carbon-heavy travel when possible and working with our suppliers and vendors to encourage GHG reductions. In 2023, Peerless upgraded almost all HVAC systems at its corporate headquarters to help reduce energy costs and promote efficient use of resources.
The Peerless Quality Team monitors and tracks progress toward our reduction goals, which are calculated with methodology established by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi).
In achieving our environmental goals, Peerless also leverages our experience and reachback support through our work supporting energy resilience and conservation with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center. Our AFCEC team is experienced in:
