David Murray serves as Vice President and leads the Development and Applications Group, which focuses on advanced software development supporting autonomy, artificial intelligence, open architecture, and data-driven solutions.

Before coming to Peerless, Murray bootstrapped and led Statheros, which Peerless acquired in January 2025. Murray has spent the entirety of his 20-year professional career leading and executing applied research and development efforts for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.  He has also previously served as  a Chief Technology Officer and a Chief Operating Officer for other Defense contractors.

Murray holds an M.B.A. from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He is based in Tennessee.
