Peerless Chief Financial Officer Andrea Kunk will become president of Peerless Technologies Corporation effective March 1, 2021, with founder and current President Michael Bridges taking on a new role as Chief Growth Officer. Kunk joined Peerless in June 2000 as the company’s second employee and helped shepherd the company’s growth to more than 500 employees in 21 states and over $100 million in annual revenue.

“I look forward to working with our leadership team to continue to execute the vision that Michael established for this company: to be the first choice in professional technical services and solutions by operating efficiently, taking care of our customers and employees, and adapting to change,” Kunk said. “My goal is to empower our employees to continue doing the great work they do every day for our dedicated clients and their missions all over the world — and to provide the leadership and resources along the way to make our company even stronger.”

Kunk holds two degrees from Wright State University, a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She is the Chair of the Wright State University Foundation Board of Trustees and also serves as the Vice President of the Fairborn Development Corporation Board of Directors. Kunk lives in Beavercreek with her husband and two young children.

Peerless, founded by Michael Bridges, opened for business in early 2000 and later that year became the first company to move into The Entrepreneurs Center (TEC) and Edison Technology Incubator sponsored by the State of Ohio. Five years later, the expanding company became the first company in Ohio to graduate from TEC.  With corporate headquarters adjacent to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Peerless has grown into an award-winning professional services, engineering and cybersecurity firm supporting numerous aspects of national security.

In his new role as Chief Growth Officer, Bridges will act as advisor to the Peerless leadership team and work closely with the corporate Business Development, Capture and Proposals departments to further the company’s strategic objectives. Kunk will continue in her current role until March 1, 2021 to allow for a smooth transition and search for her replacement as CFO, Bridges said.

“It’s an exciting time for Peerless, and it’s time for new ideas and new leadership,” Bridges said. “Our leadership culture at Peerless has always been to painstakingly support our 500 amazing employees who deliver excellence. I believe we will do this better than ever under Andrea Kunk’s guidance.”

Peerless has supported a wide variety of federal clients, including the Air Force, Army, Navy, NASA, Department of Homeland Security, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Homeland Security, CENTCOM, STRATCOM, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency, Department of Energy and General Services Administration.
