A joint venture between two Dayton-area defense contractors, SierTeK, Ltd and Peerless Technologies Corporation, has been awarded four contracts under the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) program.
SierTeK-Peerless Joint Venture LLC won contracts in OASIS Small Business Pool 1, Pool 1-8(a), Pool 3, and Pool 3-8(a), giving federal government customers convenient access to the blended capabilities of each company. OASIS is a multi-award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity vehicle that is the only government-wide contract for complex professional services, including program management, management consulting, logistics services, engineering, scientific and financial services. Since the program began in 2013, the government has awarded over 1,500 task orders worth more than $20 billion to small businesses.
“The SierTeK-Peerless JV win of these OASIS contracts will enable two nationally recognized firms, based in the Dayton region, to partner in solving issues of national security and serving federal clients all over the world,” said Peerless President Michael Bridges. “I’m very proud of Peerless’ 20-year history in defense and space, and we will use every bit of that experience on these important contracts.”
With more than 200 employees, SierTeK is the region’s third largest veteran-owned small business. Based in Beavercreek, Ohio, SierTeK is also an SBA certified 8(a) company and offers a range of services in program management, information technology and administrative support. The Managing Partner of SPJV, SierTeK currently supports federal clients in Ohio, Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.
“SPJV is ready to leverage Peerless’ s five-plus years of experience successfully supporting GSA OASIS customers across the federal government,” said Raul Sierra, SierTeK’s president. “The SPJV leadership has set clear objectives to maximize our probability of win by establishing a dedicated project management office to manage the entire OASIS Task Order process, from capture to execution.”
Founded in 2000, Peerless, based in Fairborn, Ohio, has been a successful OASIS SB prime in multiple pools and serves as the mentor partner for the JV. Peerless now has almost 500 employees nationwide providing IT, engineering, and program management experience and expertise across a wide array of Department of Defense and non-DoD government customers.
Julie Clark, Peerless Senior Vice President, Business, Analytics, spearheaded Peerless’s successful wins in several OASIS Pools and the formation of the JV.
“To add the OASIS vehicles to our portfolio is beyond exciting,” Clark said. “Federal government customers from across the world will be able to access our services with ease for years to come.”
