Effective Jan. 1, 2020, Peerless’ Huntsville Operations becomes the new Mission Support Services (MIS) Group under Vice President Darren Gero.
“Under Darren’s leadership, Peerless has teamed, proposed, and won a number of opportunities,” said Peerless President Michael Bridges. “Darren has established himself as a leader in the industry and is a significant contributor to the Peerless leadership team.”
Since joining Peerless in 2017, Darren Gero has built Peerless operations in the Huntsville, Alabama area. A graduate of LSU with a BS in Information Systems and Decision Sciences and an MS in Management from Florida Institute of Technology, Gero has years of experience with business development and program/project management within the Department of Defense and civil space market.
“I’m looking forward to helping our team tap into new business and new markets,” said Gero. “Peerless has a lot to offer our customers – I’m proud to be a part of the Peerless team.”
Huntsville holds significant potential for Peerless, with clients including NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center; the U.S. Army’s Materiel Command; and the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command.
“I want to congratulate Darren on building Huntsville Operations to date,” Bridges said. “I’m confident he’ll continue to build the MIS group and carry forward the hard-earned reputation of Peerless.”
