Mindy Waldren, Vice President of Contracts & Pricing, has been named to the Women in Business Networking’s 2019 list of “Top 25 Women to Watch.”
The award recognizes women “who are exceptional in their roles and respected in their fields, who are causing more than just a ripple in the public arena and in their communities,” WiBN officials said.
Ms. Waldren, who joined Peerless in 2019, leads a group that encompasses contract administration, purchasing, and pricing, overseeing a wide-ranging portfolio of government contracts.
“It’s such an honor to be recognized by this group,” Waldren said.
Ms. Waldren, a Certified Federal Contracts Manager, has over 20 years’ experience in contract management, program control and support, human resources and change management for the government and the private sector.
A longtime contracts professional, Ms. Waldren has managed contracts for the Department of Defense, Air Force, Army, Navy, the National Institutes of Health, the General Services Administration, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as well as commercial contracts.
In 2018, Ms. Waldren was elected as a Fellow in the National Contract Management Association in recognition of her significant contributions to the contracting field. She is also active in WiBN events, including Lunch and Learn and Koffee Talks.
“Networking is vital for any business professional, but it is especially important for younger women early in their careers,” Waldren said.
