Peerless Technologies Corporation, a leading government services and mission engineering provider, has acquired Statheros, LLC, a Knoxville, Tenn.-based defense firm.

The acquisition, which closed today, expands Peerless’ customer base and brings differentiated capabilities to advance the state of the art in Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, company officials said. 

“Peerless has undergone a deliberate, strategic transformation to be a provider of innovative, digitally enabled solutions and technologies leveraging our 20+ years of customer-first systems engineering services,” said Peerless President Andrea Kunk.  “Our investment in Statheros enhances our recent internal investments in tools, processes, and internal research & development to align with the mission of our customers.” 

The acquisition of Statheros is an important accelerator to the Peerless strategy of delivering exceptional technology, expertise and mission capabilities. Peerless continues to expand its Peerless Innovation Center strategic investment focused on advancing R&D, developing technologies and generating differentiating capabilities focused on Digital Systems Engineering, multi-spectral operations, Modeling & Simulation, Open Architectures & software engineering. 

Statheros President David Murray, who founded Statheros in 2021, noted that his company’s previous collaborations impressed him with Peerless’ commitment to excellence and integrity.
